Philly hip hop artist RA Certified started rapping at the age of 13, influenced by lyrical MCs such as Nas, 2Pac and The Lox. RA went by the name of Razor in the beginning of his rap career but changed his name to RA CERTIFIED meaning the official one. RA provides a witty bar delivery with a confident raw demeanor. RA is also a great songwriter and amazing performer. RA has opened up for countless hip hop artist both old school and new school; artist such as DMC, Schoolly D, Freeway, Mickey D, Fearless Four, Naughty by Nature, Gillie Da Kid, Nice & Smooth, Craig G, Fred The Godson, Brand Nubian, Lazy K, Corey Gunz, Lore’l, Mr. Cheeks, Monica Love, Special Ed, Das EFX and many more.

RA Certified has also won countless hip hop competitions throughout the East Coast such as “The Hottdamitt” competition and Lady E. Cypher Sundays based out of Philly. RA is currently The E.H.M.P (Elegant Hoodness Music Program) Number One Artist of the year for 2014 (EHMP is based out of New York). RA is now promoting his mixtape titled “TRAPPED IN DA 90’s” which has opened many doors for the lyricist, gaining him the respect from the pioneers in the game and recognized as one of the few MCs with the ability to bring Hip Hop back to the essence we all miss.
